The scientific program consists of plenary lectures, invited and contributed talks as well as poster sessions.

Poster sessions are scheduled on Monday, March 26, and Tuesday, March 27, 2018 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Lobby of the lecture rooms.
- The posters should be on display all day.
- The poster walls have a width of 90 cm and are reaching from the floor to a height of 180 cm.
- The poster can be fixed only with adhesive tape (no pins or tacks or glue)
- The posters can be mounted in the morning and must be removed until 17:00 on the same day.

The SCTE'2018 starts on Sunday, March 25, at 3.00 p.m. (registration opens) followed by the welcome party at 6:00 p.m.
On Monday, April 26, 2018, the SCTE'2018 starts at 8:50 a.m.; on the remaining days, the conference will beginn 9:00 a.m. Except Thursday, 2 plenary talks open the morning sessions, followed by invited and oral talks in two different tracks. The respective lecture rooms are only 1 min away from each other.
Thursday morning is devoted (in part) to a special symposium on "Finite temperature simulation of magnetism".
The poster sessions are scheduled in late afternoon and are accompanied by free beer/wine/water.
